Very soon the BAC website will have an online link for "SSCC Staff Registration" similar to the one that the units have been signing up on since April 1. Cost to register for staff is $35. We will need hundreds of staff (program, logistics, food, sub camp staff, trading post, etc.) .
Keep looking at the BAC website for updates. I just learned about the new (actually "retired") Merit Badges that will be available for boys to earn ONLY during 2010. Wow!

In addition, as part of the event, local councils across America will be gathering together in venues large and small — whether a camp, community center, or a sports stadium — to host their own Shining Light activities leading up to the broadcast and will be encouraging all Scouts, Scouting volunteers, alumni, families and community supporters to join in the festivities.
